BANANA ORANGE JUICE - Refresh and Rejuvenate

I would personally give a ten on ten for this Banana -Orange juice. Bananas being a good source of energy and essential minerals and Oranges being good sources of Vitamin C and Fiber adds big value to this creamy and refreshing drink. Make some for your breakfast, mid -morning, post lunch or ditch your evening coffee /tea for this  Antioxidant boost.




I always preferred smoothies all this while for the fullness it imparted, but this one bowled me over. I am not exaggerating. You will know once you have tasted it. The Oranges not only give you some good dose of Citrus, but also acts as a colour stabilizer and prevents the Bananas from browning. When I took the first sip, I refused to believe that the mixture did not have any milk, yogurt or coconut milk. Plus, I had not added any sugar. The riper the Banana and sweeter the Oranges, the better. Common now.... pick your glasses for some fresh sip.

Beetroot Ginger Juice


Preparation Time: 2 min
Recipe level :  Very easy
Recipe Category: Beverage
Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS
2 Ripe Bananas
2 Oranges (I used Navel and Cara-Cara Oranges)
2-3 ice cubes (optional)

METHOD
  • Peel and add the Bananas into a blender. Squeeze out juice from the oranges into the blender and add ice cubes. Blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately as the Vitamin C deteriorates fast when exposed and turns the juice bitter.
